Event Description:  The Southern Trans Health and Wellness Conference is designed to highlight best practices, innovative research and authentic community partnerships that center the lived experiences of impacted populations and to support the health and wellness racial equity and equality of transgender, non-binary, intersex and queer and gender-expansive communities.
At all stages of conference planning, members of the transgender, non-binary, intersex and gender-expansive community, health care professionals, family members/caregivers, educators, advocates and researchers work together with the goal of providing participants with a collaborative environment for supporting health and wellness through a social justice and racial equity lens.
