Event Description: Registration for this program will close at noon on October 6.
This program will provide a medication management overview for the treatment of substance use disorders and common co-occurring psychiatric disorders. We will first discuss common substance use disorders and their medication management. We will then discuss common psychiatric disorders that co-occur with substance use disorders and best practices for management.
Objectives
List three medications used to manage Opioid Use Disorder.
Identify three medications used to manage Alcohol Use Disorder.
Name three mood disorders common with substance use disorder and at least one medication to manage each.
