Event Description:  This activity is designed to improve the knowledge base, competency and practice skills of medical examiners. It is also meant to help expose participants to relevant forensic topics which may be of interest in their practice areas. Specific focuses of this activity will include deaths occurring due to suspected elder neglect/abuse, deaths occurring during excited states, gunshot wound characteristics and description, electronic death certification, forensic radiology and identification and expert witness testimony.
