Event Description: This educational activity is designed for the ophthalmologist attendee to obtain more knowledge regarding the latest best-care diagnostic and treatment options for patients with retinopathy of prematurity, and surgical cataract. Nationally renowned experts in these areas will provide lectures and participate in question-and-answer sessions so that ophthalmologist physicians may improve their knowledge base and their competence in providing state-of-the-art care for patients with these diseases.
Objectives
Correctly grade the stage of ROP using the updated grading system of ICROP3.
Correctly apply the appropriate treatment regime for ROP, with increased knowledge of the latest results of
treatment with anti-VEGF medications.
Implement into practice, and adroitly educate the patient about, the myriad of surgical techniques and
intraocular lenses currently available
