Event Description: This program will provide an overview of health care fraud nationally and specifically in North Carolina. Some topic areas include the extent of health care fraud, typical health care fraud schemes, compliance oversight of health care fraud in North Carolina, current trends in health care fraud, summaries of several actual NC health fraud cases and projections for future trends in health care fraud.

Discuss the definition and scope of health care fraud.
Describe compliance oversight and investigation of health care fraud in North Carolina.
Discuss the connection between Tailored Care Management and health care fraud.
