Objectives

  1. Illustrate pertinent anatomy and embryology to consider when evaluating pediatric or adult epilepsy
  2. Recognize findings that may distinguish accidental from abusive injury
  3. Illustrate developmental abnormalities related to CSF
  4. Recognize neurologic complications of monoclonal antibody therapies on imaging
  5. Recognize imaging manifestations of classical and emerging neurotoxicity syndromes
  6. Understand common clinical scenarios in which the radiologist is particularly vulnerable to error in genitourinary, gastrointestinal, and hepatobiliary pathology
  7. Understand the rationale, key features and potential benefits of RADS (LI- RADS, C- RADS, O- RADS, TI- RADS, PI- RADS, VI- RADS, and KI- RADS)
  8. Understand the historical context and emerging treatment approaches for patients with small renal masses: predicting pathology versus predicting risk
  9. Evaluate the advantages and pitfalls of MRI vs CEM
  10. Develop an efficient search pattern for detecting breast cancers
  11. Apply evidence-based guidelines for management of high-risk breast lesions
  12. Accurately stage cervical cancer by MRI
  13. Recognize acute traumatic pancreatic injury
  14. Understand the new lexicon terminology for first trimester ultrasound
  15. Value the role of myocardial perfusion PET and the implications of myocardial flow reserve.
  16. Understand the limitations, sensitivity, and specificity of 18F-FDG PET/CT
  17. Understand safety and clinical considerations, including dosimetry evaluation, as well as complications of PRRT
  18. Illustrate normal variants on cranial ultrasound
  19. Overview of most common foreign bodies seen in pediatrics with emphasis on life threatening conditions
  20. Importance of fluoroscopic procedures requiring urgent intervention in pediatrics
  21. Assessment of updates in the Lung-RADS 2022 guidelines and their implications for lung cancer screening
  22. Develop standardized reporting strategies for radiologists to enhance ILD diagnosis and communication with clinicians
  23. Identify challenges in imaging and explore strategies to optimize diagnostic accuracy and patient management in cardiovascular disease
