Target Audience

Out of practice nurses, Registered Nurses, A RN who is a legal resident of NC

Event Description

The orientation for the clinical practicum will prepare the RN Refresher nurse for the clinical experience with a preceptor. Information will be provided to guide the RN Refresher through the preparation process. The RN Refresher must have completed and passed all required modules in the theory course before clinical placement can occur.

Objectives

1. Discuss the role of the RN Refresher student in the clinical setting.
2. Review forms needed to begin clinical experience.
3. Demonstrate the requirements for successful completion of the clinical experience.
