Target Audience

This activity is planned for Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist physicians, fellows, residents, PAs, NPs and all other clinical staff.

Event Description

This facilitated learning program teaches practical skills to strengthen relationships as you engage with patients and their families. The program builds upon the strong clinical skills you already possess and is designed for all levels of clinical experience and specialties. Please note: This activity is only open to employees of Wake Forest University School of Medicine/Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and Atrium Health.

Objectives

  1. Describe the positive impact of RCC on medical outcomes, patient experience and clinician burnout.
  2. List specific RCC skills that enhance patient experience and outcomes.
  3. Demonstrate RCC skills in role-play scenarios derived from their own clinical practice.
  4. Apply self-selected RCC skills in their own clinical practice.
