Target Audience

RN Refresher nurse and any interested RN.

Event Description

This hands-on nursing skills lab is designed to enhance clinical competence and confidence in performing essential nursing procedures. Participants will receive guided instruction and supervised practice in intravenous (IV) insertion, Foley catheterization, nasogastric (NG) tube insertion and care, as well as the management of ostomies, tracheostomies, and chest tubes. Through interactive demonstrations and skill stations, attendees will reinforce foundational techniques, address common challenges, and apply best practices to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Objectives

  1. Practice nursing skills .
  2. Demonstrate IV insertion.
  3. Demonstrate foley catheter and NG insertion and care.
  4. Demonstrate trach, ostomy, and chest tube care.

Session Credits
