Event Description
This hands-on skills lab will focus on essential respiratory and airway management techniques. This session will cover: Oxygen delivery modalities Arterial blood gas (ABG) interpretation Chest tube management Tracheostomy care Participants will engage in guided practice to build confidence and competence in these critical nursing skills.
Objectives
- Identify and describe the appropriate use of various oxygen delivery systems and interpret basic arterial blood gas (ABG) values in relation to patient conditions.
- Demonstrate proper technique in managing chest tubes and performing routine tracheostomy care, including suctioning and dressing changes.
