Target Audience

RN Refresher nurse and any interested RN.

Event Description

This hands-on skills lab will focus on essential respiratory and airway management techniques. This session will cover: Oxygen delivery modalities Arterial blood gas (ABG) interpretation Chest tube management Tracheostomy care Participants will engage in guided practice to build confidence and competence in these critical nursing skills.

Objectives

  1. Identify and describe the appropriate use of various oxygen delivery systems and interpret basic arterial blood gas (ABG) values in relation to patient conditions.
  2. Demonstrate proper technique in managing chest tubes and performing routine tracheostomy care, including suctioning and dressing changes.
