Target Audience

This activity is designed for surgeons, medical oncologists, gastroenterologists, radiation oncologists, nurses, physician assistants and nurse practitioners.

Event Description

This multidisciplinary symposium brings together leading experts from Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and Levine Cancer Institute, with specialties in medical oncology, surgical oncology, gastroenterology, and interventional radiology. The conference will provide cutting-edge updates on the management of HPB malignancies, featuring clinical case discussions, interactive audience participation, and a keynote addres.

Objectives

  1. Implement evidence-based, multidisciplinary approaches to the management of HPB malignancies.
  2. Apply precision oncology and biomarker-driven treatment strategies.
  3. Optimize patient selection for surgery, liver-directed therapies, and clinical trials; improve management of treatment-related toxicities.
  4. Integrate emerging technologies and collaborative care models to enhance patient outcomes.
