Objectives
- Apply treatment guidelines for substance use disorder and pain management to minimize opioid use.
- Consider diagnosis and management of mental health conditions.
- Recognize opportunities to improve well-being in self and peers.
- Address patient and provider safety concerns and how to mitigate workplace risks.
- Take advantage of mechanisms for professional development pathways and how to engage in self-reflection, mentoring and sponsorship.
