Event Description:
This facilitated learning program teaches practical skills to strengthen relationships as you engage with patients and their families. The program builds upon the strong clinical skills you already possess and is designed for all levels of clinical experience and specialties.
Please note: This activity is only open to employees of Wake Forest School of Medicine/Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and Atrium Health.
Objectives
Describe effective strategies and techniques for relationship-centered communication.
Describe the positive impact of relationship-centered communication on medical outcomes, patient experience and clinician burnout.
Practice the use relationship-centered communication in simulated settings.
Demonstrate the use of relationship-centered communication in their own practice.
