Event Description: This educational activity is designed for the ophthalmologist attendee to obtain more knowledge regarding the latest best-care diagnostic and treatment options for patients with macular disease, orbital disease, and challenging cataract surgery. Nationally renowned experts in these areas will provide lectures and participate in question-and-answer sessions so that ophthalmologist physicians may improve their knowledge base and their competence in providing state-of-the-art care for patients with these diseases.
Objectives
Improve knowledge base for the evaluation and treatment of end stage macular degeneration.
Understand the barriers to care that impact patient's access to treatment and outcomes for patients with macular degeneration, and how we can help overcome these barriers.
Perform a better oculoplastics-focused exam for patients with various orbital diseases.
