Event Description: The Southeastern Shock Symposium will explore the various Stages of Shock and their management, with an emphasis on recognition, early stabilization, shock team and escalation, as well as extensive discussions on the various acute mechanical circulatory support options available. We hope to improve our regional patient outcomes by educating and empowering providers with this combination of lectures, panel discussions as well as hands on simulation sessions. From A to E, if you care for cardiogenic shock patients, be it cardiologists, intensivists, surgeons, APNs etc we hope to see you in person.
A pre-conference dinner will be held Friday, September 26, 2025 at the Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute (1237 Harding Pl, Charlotte, NC).
The pre-conference dinner and Symposium are FREE for attendees. Pre-registration is required. Participants are able to attend in-person or via live steam. Limit 150 participants in-person. Live stream participants will not receive continuing education credit.
