Event Description: This multidisciplinary symposium brings together leading experts from Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and Levine Cancer Institute, with specialties in medical oncology, surgical oncology, gastroenterology, and interventional radiology. The conference will provide cutting-edge updates on the management of HPB malignancies, featuring clinical case discussions, interactive audience participation, and a keynote address by Dr. Philip Philip (Wayne State University).

Objectives

Understand the current treatment options available for colorectal liver metastases and how to apply them in clinical practice.

Explore and evaluate the latest research developments in systemic therapy for advanced pancreatic cancer to inform treatment decisions.

Understand how neoadjuvant therapy can be used to downstage locally advanced hepatocellular carcinoma and assess its impact on treatment planning.

Understand the role of liver transplantation for intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma and clinical outcomes.

Review current status of robotic whipple for pancreatic cancer and surgical outcomes.
