Event Description:  This activity will be an on-demand online learning course for healthcare practitioners to receive CME and Contact Hours credit. The course will cover sex trafficking as well as labor trafficking instances, along with what indicators warrant additional questioning and separation from victims' alleged family/friends in a practice situation. Covering Social Determinants of Health in the context of trafficking situations will provide needed context to separate stereotypes from realistic trafficking situations. This course will help practitioners understand what trauma-informed responses look like and provide local as well as national options for reporting human trafficking.
