Event Description: This interactive nursing skills lab is designed to strengthen participants’ proficiency in safe medication administration and accurate dosage calculation. Through guided instruction, and hands-on practice, participants will review key principles of pharmacology, explore various routes of medication delivery, and apply critical thinking to dosage calculations. Emphasis will be placed on preventing medication errors, understanding medication rights, and enhancing clinical judgment to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Objectives
Demonstrate accurate dosage calculations for various medication types and patient scenarios.
Identify and prevent common medication errors by applying critical thinking and evidence-based practices in clinical decision-making.
Demonstrate preparation and safe administration of medications via oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous routes.

RN Refresher nurse and any interested RN.
