Event Description: This two-hour live webinar will equip pediatric healthcare providers with the knowledge and clinical tools needed to effectively recognize, respond to, and prevent measles in today’s evolving healthcare landscape. Participants will review current epidemiologic trends, identify early clinical signs and symptoms, and apply evidence-based strategies for diagnosis, isolation, and treatment.
Objectives
Recognize the clinical presentation of measles in pediatric patients, including prodromal symptoms, characteristic rash progression, and key diagnostic indicators.
Apply evidence-based strategies for the management and response to suspected or confirmed measles cases, including isolation precautions, reporting requirements, and coordination with public health systems.
Discuss prevention strategies to reduce measles transmission, including vaccination recommendations and effective communication approaches to address vaccine hesitancy among patients and caregivers.
