This conference aims to address gaps in cardio-oncology knowledge and clinical practice by educating learners on advances in cancer care and their impact on cardiovascular health. The program will employ a novel format that combines brief didactic presentations with interactive, case-based discussions, emphasizing evidence-based guidance, best practices, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
The goal of this conference is to enhance clinicians’ ability to deliver comprehensive, coordinated care to patients with cancer and cardiovascular disease, ultimately improving patient outcomes and advancing the field of cardio-oncology.

Objectives
Apply a multidisciplinary approach to the management of acute cardiovascular disease in patients during cancer treatment.
Describe common anti-cancer therapies and their role in cancer treatment as well as their impact on cardiovascular health.
Identify and implement strategies for monitoring and managing cardiotoxicity.
Discuss the concept of permissive cardiotoxicity and how it applies to different cancer treatment scenarios.
