Objectives
Learn which advanced cardiac imaging modality (cardiac MRI, cardiac CT, echocardiography) is appropriate for the clinical indication and specific disease process
Learn what baseline patient factors can affect image quality and diagnostic power and how to adjust the scan type to acquire the best images
Learn which populations are more vulnerable to cardiac pathology and certain imaging artifacts and how to interpret and plan imaging sequences to best serve the patient and for best clinical practices
Learn to identify and interpret major and common cardiac conditions that are diagnosed by echocardiography, cardiac MRI and cardiac CT
Learn how to interpret echocardiography, cardiac MRI and CT studies according to the current international guidelines and standard practice
Implement the above described appropriate use criteria and knowledge on ordering and interpreting echocardiography, cardiac MRI and CT in clinical practice
