Event Description: The 2022 Update will provide up-to-date information on prevention, management and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STIs). This activity will address best practices related to prevention strategies for STIs including HIV, hepatitis and vaginitis. Approaches to addressing the syndemic of substance abuse and STIs will also be reviewed. The format will include case studies of common disease states that may complicate treatment, explore emerging infections and discuss the future of testing technique implementation.
