Event Description:
This session of Meet the Health Professional Series will highlight journey to becoming a Physician. The speaker will explain her own personal experience in preparing for medical school including her “bumps” as well as the many successes. The session will also cover the general information on the process of applying to medical school.
Objectives
Describe the personal journey of becoming a physician.
Discuss some of the obstacles that were faced and how they were overcome.
Discuss general information regarding the medical profession, including, but not limited to, education and experiences.
