Event Description: The purpose of this activity is to meet CME requirements of the North Carolina Medical Board for those that prescribe or dispense opioids or other controlled substances. This activity is designed to enhance knowledge and performance skills as it relates to prescribing practices, patient education, alternatives to pain management, naloxone, utilization of the NCCSRS and screening tools for substance use.
