Event Description: This facilitated learning program teaches practical skills to strengthen relationships as you engage with staff, patients and their families. The program builds upon the leadership skills you already possess and is designed for all levels of leadership.
Please note: This activity is only open to employees of Wake Forest University School of Medicine/Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and Atrium Health.
Objectives
Describe the positive impact of RCC on medical outcomes, patient experience and clinician burnout.
List specific RCC skills that enhance patient experience and outcomes.
Demonstrate RCC skills in role-play scenarios derived from their own clinical practice.
Discuss how RCC approaches can lessen communication barriers related to diversity, equity, inclusion and potential bias.
Apply self-selected RCC skills in their own clinical practice.
