Event Description: This educational activity is designed for the ophthalmologist attendee to obtain more knowledge regarding the latest best-care diagnostic and treatment options for patients with macular disease, orbital disease, and challenging cataract surgery. Nationally renowned experts in these areas will provide lectures and participate in question-and-answer sessions so that ophthalmologist physicians may improve their knowledge base and their competence in providing state-of-the-art care for patients with these diseases.
Objectives
Identify key principles in the assessment and surgical repair of anterior segment trauma and apply appropriate techniques to manage similar injuries in their own patients.
Evaluate the full spectrum of MIGS (Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery) options and select the most suitable procedure based on individual patient anatomy, disease severity, and risk factors.
Select appropriate intraocular lens implants and surgical techniques for complex cataract cases by integrating patient-specific considerations, ocular comorbidities, and evidence-based best practices.
