Event Description: Self-care is well-care. Here is your opportunity to slow down, experience practical ways to calm the mind and relax the body, and strengthen your emotional regulation and overall wellness. You will experience breathwork, meditation, low impact movement, and discuss more mindfulness strategies and tactics over a delicious light lunch (provided). 90 minutes of grounding practices followed by more ways to incorporate mindfulness and movement to find balance, thrive as a caregiver, and share what you learn with others.
Plan to leave work behind for the time and bring your mind and body ready to learn about inner peace, eudaimonia, equanimity, and how you can find it for yourself right here, right now with mindfulness practices you can take with you.
Please join us and register early as space is limited.
Come in your comfortable clothes that you can move in (and maybe even roll on the floor). Please check before registering if you have any special physical need accommodation requests.
Water will be provided with lunch, and other hydration options will be available (for purchase at the venue). Please specify any dietary restrictions in the registration form.
Andrew L. Brewer, MS, NBCHWC will facilitate this workshop using evidence-based practices for emotional regulation. He is a nationally board certified wellness coach, registered yoga teacher, group fitness instructor, and amateur athlete.
